Every year, the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) hosts their Crane & Rigging Workshop. This annual event aims to bring together industry leaders, while also hosting training and discussion sessions around job-site safety, regulatory standards, and current issues that are affecting the industry.

Also happening at the Crane & Rigging Workshop, the SC&RA will be hosting a leadership forum; “a one-day event designed to engage and accelerate career opportunities for a select group of the best and brightest individuals in the crane, rigging, specialized transportation, and supporting industries.”

SC&RA recently selected fifteen rising industry leaders to participate in their 2018 Leadership Forum. Included in those fifteen selections by the SC&RA is A&A Machinery’s very own Derek Riddell.

Derek started his career with A&A Machinery Moving as a rigging foreman. From his hard work and dedication to the A&A Difference, Derek has developed into a project manager for A&A. Derek has handled projects across many industries with A&A, including his favorite: the pharmaceutical industry.

The A&A Machinery team is proud and excited to see Derek Riddell represent the A&A Difference on the 2018 SC&RA Leadership Forum.
